About this event
Thousand Oaks, CA
Wed., Nov. 4, 2026, 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. PST
Step off campus and connect with fellow students and residents at Thrive Grove Hope the Mission, Where Shared Stories Turn Strangers Into Friends, a shelter supporting people as they work toward permanent housing. Together, we'll serve food, play games, make ice cream sundaes, and create dog and cat toys while getting to know the people who call Thrive Grove home. The heart of each visit is conversation: sharing stories, learning from one another, and taking the time to listen. Open to undergraduate, graduate, and law students, this ongoing project offers a chance to build community beyond campus and see familiar faces on return visits. Join us on biweekly Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to help create a space where shared stories turn strangers into friends.
