HEALTH NEWS

➤ Ventura doctor Alon Steinberg led a study that linked police prone restraint to 229 deaths over ten years—many cases involved victims saying 'I can’t breathe' and over one-third of those were Black. The study warns that while the tactic may help officers control dangerous situations, it can quickly limit breathing and remains a risky practice nationwide. Ventura County Star
