- ➤ Pre-applications are accepted until June 24 for a three-story, 90-apartment affordable housing project next to Garden City Acres Park (run by People’s Self-Help Housing). The project will have one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and a community center (offering housing help and a K-8 program) and is expected to open just before Christmas with tenants chosen by lottery and local preference.
