Dr. Chris Lowe of the CSULB Shark Lab said a strong El Nino is driving more great white sharks into local coastal waters, with increased sightings expected near Oxnard today.
🏛️ Government
Earlier this week, Port of Hueneme held its annual Coastal Trident exercise testing maritime security and emergency response with port tenants, staff, vessel crews and public safety agencies.
The training focused on response planning and unified command roles to strengthen community partnerships.
