GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Ventura County Assessor's Office mailed about 250,000 notifications to inform residents of their property's taxable value as of January 1, 2025—approximately 200,000 of these show a 2% increase from Proposition 13 while 7,700 state that the market value is lower than the base. Residents with questions may call the office for help and can appeal the taxable value from July 2 until September 15. Vida Newspaper
