🚨 Crime
Cory Taylor Wright, a former Navy employee at Naval Base Ventura County, pleaded guilty to felony wire fraud for paying a fellow sailor in a bid-rigging scheme that defrauded the Navy of more than $9 million, and he will pay restitution as part of his plea agreement.
Ventura County Sheriff's Office arrested 14 suspects on Aug 14 for stealing over $10 million from Home Depot stores across several counties—nine face charges and more arrests are expected.
