On August 26th, Ventura County District Attorney Erik Nasarenko and law enforcement charged nine defendants for their roles in the largest Home Depot organized retail theft conspiracy—accused of stealing millions in merchandise across multiple counties with several, including ringleader David Ahl, held on bail up to $500,000.

Four Ventura County residents were arrested in August for their alleged involvement in a robbery at a Fillmore gas station that took place shortly after midnight on June 8—three face charges in Superior Court while a 33-year-old from Oxnard was released for medical reasons.
