Ventura County officials said the FAA approved the 805 Air Mobility Test Range for autonomous aircraft testing over 500 square miles of airspace covering Camarillo & Oxnard.
The range, run by the Ventura County Department of Airports with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, will boost local high-tech job growth.
