GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ventura County is preparing for a special election as early voting will begin on Oct. 6—18 vote centers will be open and about 150 workers will be hired by Election Day. Voters will decide on Proposition 50 to use temporary congressional maps until after the 2030 census. Ventura County Star
