The Ventura County Neighbors Support Fund announced a new matching opportunity from the Brokaw Family Fund that will match donations up to $50,000 to help local families, small businesses, and essential services during sudden hardships—this effort has already distributed $134,000 in grants and raised over $454,000 in total.

The Oxnard Police Department Mounted Unit and Foundation hosted their second fundraiser on November 6 at Magnavino Cellars+ the venue filled with local residents, officers, and sponsors.

Donations will support horse care and training+ the unit will use the funds to boost community patrols and engagement.
